The Tiehen Group, Inc. recently put together a group of investors to purchase and renovate one of the most gorgeous properties in the state of Colorado.

Arapaho Valley Ranch (AVR) is a 100-acre guest ranch located in Colorado’s beautiful Grand County. AVR is located at the base of the Indian Peaks Wilderness, within a 2-hour drive from Denver.

AVR is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest and is nestled in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This area features hiking trails, waterfalls, and historic steam engines from the old town of Monarch. AVR has its own private hiking trail that leads to a scenic overlook of the headwaters of the Colorado River Valley.

AVR offers tipis & glamping tents perfect for a couple or a small family. It also has cabins that will fit larger families, dozens of riverside campsites, and dispersed camping. AVR is home to two historic buildings, built in the 1900’s, the Dance Hall and the Lodge, which is home to the famous Red Dog Saloon, the smallest bar in Colorado.
